tartan Start the weekend off right! Enjoy a light-hearted afternoon of golf played in the ancient Scottish Highlands of Kintore (just minutes from Perth-Andover).

Walk this challenging 9-hole/Par 3 to the haunting sounds of the Highland Pipes.

Although not mandatory, tartan is the "dress of the day"! Dig out those kilts or pin on your favorite plaid and we'll see you at the clubhouse!

Junior Heavyweight Athletics Workshop

The Junior Scottish Heavyweights take the field first in 2008 on Friday evening and is open to both male & female participants 20 years of age and under.

Local athletes representing the Southern Victoria Scottish Athletics Club ( New Brunswick’s only organized Junior Heavy Events program), will compete against visitors from Nova Scotia and Ontario.

See our future in this sport compete in such events as the stone putt, tossing weights for distance, the 16lb. hammer for distance and the ever popular caber toss.

Scottish Heavyweight Athletics Workshop

tartanHave you ever wondered what it would be like to try your hand at tossing the Stone or flipping the Caber? Well here's your chance!

20 pre-registered participants and instructors will meet at the athlete's venue for a hands-on, basic instructional clinic on the fundamentals of all Scottish Heavyweight Athletics events. This workshop is open to both Junior (20 yrs. & under) and Senior (over 20 yrs.) athletes - males and females alike!

Come and join in the "throw"! You never know, you just may want to continue with your skills development by participating in the Saturday amateur-class competition along side the "Big Lads"!
